Closing Artisan Mid Cap Value Fund

Artisan Mid Cap Value Fund will close to most new investors at the close of business on July 10, 2009. The Fund will accept new accounts from employee benefit plans (including 401(k) and other types of defined contribution plans) and other investors who satisfy new account eligibility requirements. Eligibility requirements are described in the Fund's prospectus under the heading "Who is Eligible to Invest in a Closed Artisan Fund?"
